Christopher Robert Evans is a well-known American actor. His acting career started with TV performances, such as Opposite Sext, which he portrayed in 2000. Evans gained fame as his character, the Human Torch Marvel Comics character in the 2005 movie Fantastic Four, and the sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans has appeared in numerous films that adapted comics and graphic novels including TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim and the World vs. the World (2009) as well as Snowpiercer (2013). Evans' portrayal as Steve Rogers as Captain America was featured in his role in Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014, 2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) as well as Endgame 2019, brought him more fame. His work on the Marvel series helped establish him as one of the highest paid actors.
