Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is the daughter of British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby (born in Paris) and Chris Watson (born in Paris). When she was a kid she was enrolled in her school, the Dragon School in Oxfordshire. When she was six years old, Emma was aware she would like to be an actress. For many years she trained at the Oxford Branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts a part-time theater school, where she learned singing dancing and acting. By the time she turned 10, she had already taken part in numerous Stagecoach plays and productions. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the 2001 version from J.K. Rowling's bestselling British book began in 1999. Emma was discovered by agent through her Oxford teacher. David Heyman, the producer of Harry Potter Harry Potter's Sorcerer's Stone, and Ron Weasley told Emma after eight auditions that she had been selected for the roles. Emma was chosen to play alongside Daniel Radcliffe Rupert Grint and Rupert Grint. Emma's debut on the big screen came in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone which was released in 2001. The highest-grossing movie of 2001 The film broke records for its opening day opening and the opening weekend's earnings. The film received praise from reviewers, and so were the performances of its three young starlets. The well-known British newspaper The Daily Telegraph called her performance admirable. In the following days, Emma was shortlisted for five awards for her role in the film winning her the Young Artist Award for Leading Actress Young in a feature Film.
