Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a musical family. Her early years were shaped by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the more traditional romantic, ranchero, and romantic ballads. Ana has a passion for the opera and tango genres as well as every form of dramatic performances. At the age 16, she began to sing and study music with her mother. Flavio, a Mexican tenor of great renown began to give her more intense singing instruction. The School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. The singer performed at Guadalajara, Mexico City and various cities while a student and professional. She sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to Southern California. She currently is a part of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and often performs as a soloist in the traditional Latin American music at private occasions. The love she has for the performing arts, music, and the arts keep her involved in local activities for both an artist as well as a instructor. Ana was also a part of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is now a teacher at The Performance Loft.
